Terms of service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using ScribSave you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What you may convert

You may only convert documents that you own, that you have licensed, or that are otherwise yours to copy. The service renders documents that Scribd already publishes publicly and does not bypass logins, paywalls, download restrictions or any other access control.

Attempting to use the service to reproduce material you have no right to copy is a breach of these terms and may result in your account being suspended and your access being withdrawn permanently.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity that happens under your account. Accounts are for individual use; automated or bulk use of the conversion queue is not permitted and may be rate limited or blocked.

4. Fair use and quotas

Each account has a daily conversion allowance so that no single user can consume the shared conversion capacity. Limits may change with demand. Automated scraping, reselling access, or circumventing quotas is not allowed.

5. Availability

The service is provided as is. Conversion depends on third-party pages being available and may fail for reasons outside our control. We may modify, suspend or withdraw any part of the service, and we may refuse or stop conversions at our discretion.

6. Your content

You keep all rights in the documents you convert. We claim no ownership of them. We store what is needed to operate the service — your account details, the document links you submit, and the resulting files for a limited period — as described in the privacy policy.

7. Copyright complaints

If you believe material available through the service infringes your rights, follow the process on the copyright and takedown page. We act on valid reports, including blocking the affected document.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, ScribSave is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your use of the service or your breach of these terms.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated. Material changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
