Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account details — your email address, an optional display name, a hashed password, and the date and IP address of your last sign-in.
• Your conversions — the document links you submit, their status, page count and file size, and the resulting file for a limited period.
• Usage counters — how many conversions you have used today, so we can apply your daily allowance.
• Technical logs — IP address and request details in server logs, used for security and troubleshooting.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not use your conversions for advertising or profiling.
• We do not share your email address with third parties.

Passwords

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes and can never be read back, by us or anyone else. If you forget yours, use the reset link on the sign-in page.

How long we keep things

• Converted files — held only until they expire or you delete them, after which the dashboard shows them as no longer available. Converting again is free.
• Conversion history — kept while your account exists, so you can find earlier work. Delete any entry at any time.
• Account — kept until you delete it. Deleting your account removes your history and usage counters immediately.
• Server logs — rotated automatically and deleted on a short schedule.

Cookies

The site sets one session cookie to keep you signed in and protect forms against cross-site request forgery. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can see everything we hold about you on the account page, change your name, change your password, and delete your account entirely. For anything else, email support@scribsave.com.

Security

Passwords are hashed, sessions are regenerated on sign-in, forms are CSRF protected, and sign-in attempts are rate limited. Data is served over HTTPS once the domain is live.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date above is updated. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
