Copyright and takedowns
How to report material that should not be converted here.
Our position
ScribSave exists so that people can keep and read documents they already have access to. We do not host a library of documents, we do not index other people's files, and we do not convert anything Scribd does not publish publicly.
Reporting material
If you own the rights to a work and believe it is being converted here without permission, send us the details below. We act on valid reports, usually within two business days.
- Your full name and contact email address.
- The exact URL of the material you want reported.
- A description of the copyrighted work.
- Evidence that you own or represent the rights — a link to your published page, a registration number, or similar.
- A good-faith statement that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your report is accurate and that you are authorised to act for the rights holder.
Email the report to support@scribsave.com with the subject line "Copyright report".
What happens next
- The document is blocked from conversion, usually immediately.
- Any existing conversion of it is removed.
- We confirm the action taken to the reporter.
Misrepresentation
Knowingly misrepresenting that you own rights, or that material is infringing, can carry legal consequences. Please be sure before filing a report.
Counter-notices
If you believe material was blocked in error, reply to the same thread with a counter-notice containing the same statements, and we will review the block.
